Aims & Scope
Aims and Scope of the Works on Intellectual Property Journal
The Works on Intellectual Property Journal (WIP) provides a platform for scholarly discussion on copyright law and its implications across various contexts. It focuses on the intersection of copyright, related rights, cultural rights, and information rights, exploring how these rights affect creators, consumers, and society as a whole.
We encourage submissions that examine national and international copyright frameworks. The journal will cover topics related to copyright infringement, fair use, and licensing, as well as discussions on the influence of technology on copyright practices.
Cultural rights and their relationship with copyright are areas of particular interest. We aim to emphasize the importance of preserving cultural heritage through legal frameworks. Submissions that address the balance between protection and access are warmly welcomed.
Additionally, the journal will explore the implications of neighboring rights for performers and producers. We are interested in the evolving nature of information rights in the digital age, and we encourage articles that analyze case law and legislative developments.
Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary research that connects law, culture, and technology. We welcome contributions from legal scholars, practitioners, and cultural theorists, striving to create a space for critical analysis and innovative ideas.
We aim to promote dialogue and collaboration among researchers worldwide, committing to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that advance the understanding of these rights. Through this journal, we hope to contribute to fair and equitable intellectual property legal frameworks.
