THE ARCHITECTURAL OBJECTS: THE POSSIBILITIES OF COPYRIGHT AND PATENT PROTECTION

Abstract

The report is devoted to the analysis of the legal regime of the architectural objects in accordance with the Federal Law "On Architectural Activity in the Russian Federation" dated 17.11.1995 No. 169-FZ and part 4 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The concepts of an architectural object, an architectural solution, an architectural project contained in this law, as well as the concepts of "work of architecture" and "industrial design" are analyzed. Possibilities of protection of architectural objects as works of architecture and objects of industrial property are considered.
