DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE LEGAL PROTECTION OF INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE OBJECTS

Abstract

Industrial heritage is a unique result of activities in the field of industrial development as the basis of the civilized existence of human society. The concept of industrial heritage is interdisciplinary: the term connects both humanities and technical disciplines. The presence of industrial heritage shows the formation of cultural, economic and technological features of the country where the object of industrial heritage is located. The qualitative definition of the characteristics of protected objects of industrial heritage varies depending on national legal norms. This article examines the legal regulation of the protection of industrial heritage in Russia and in other countries. The ways of improvement for the preservation of industrial heritage objects with the help of modern digital technologies are proposed.
