DESIGNING SOCIO-POLITICAL PROCESSES: REQUIREMENTS OF MORALITY, ETHICS AND LAW IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ON THE INTERNET

Abstract

The modern sphere of media requires complex legal regulation due to the emergence and dissemination of a large amount of false information. The article is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of fake news, its identification and neutralization, as well as legislation and responsibility for the dissemination of fake news. As a result of the study, new “rules of the game” are formulated, in relation to information that circulates in the public sphere of the Internet communications, as well as its acceptable formats and technologies for dissemination.
