Abstract
Modern copyright practices in the digital environment are not only complex due to the nature of the property, but also because of the very nature of infringement. The almost unlimited possibilities of copying content from social networks and Internet platforms create noticeable difficulties in terms of its distribution and copyright protec- tion. The article is devoted to the analysis of a number of judicial cases of copyright infringement by both musicians, bloggers, journalists, and ordinary users of digital platforms, which is associated with a change in content consumption, the non-systematic and network nature of the digital environment and the peculiarities of human behavior in the Internet environment.
