Abstract

The concept of “omnimedia”, new to media theory and practice, is analyzed. It illustrates the formation and practice of omnimedia on the example of one of China's leading newspapers “People's Daily”. It describes how, based on artificial intelligence and Big Data technology, the China created a platform for the production and exploitation of artificial intelligence in the media and launched an intelligent environment focused on omnimedia, which integrates intelligent production and distribution of information.
