ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE FUTURE OF THE DIGITAL PARLIAMENT: CURRENT CHALLENGES, GLOBAL REGULATION AND THE ROLE OF PARLIAMENTARIANS

Abstract
The author of the article emphasises the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a key technology that is transforming the social, economic and legal structures of modern society. Along with the potential of AI to improve the efficiency and transparency of processes, there are also a number of challenges related to ethics, human rights and legal regulation. The article highlights the important role of parliamentarians and international organisations in developing legal and ethical standards to ensure the safe and responsible use of AI in order to minimise risks such as algorithmic bias and privacy breaches.
