Abstract
The article examines the problems of modern public (state and municipal) management based on the analysis of modern trends in the development of information and digital technologies. It is substantiated that the digitalization of the state economy and the new digital economic structure in a number of foreign countries have already raised the question of the possibility of a revolution in the vector of financial obligations between the state and the citizen. Further, the work highlights the main trends in the transformation of state functions in the digital era.
